• We only operate with a valid MTO wheelchair accessible vehicle safety sticker.
• Each seat has lap and shoulder belts, including for each wheelchair position.
• Vehicles are fully climate controlled.
• Vehicles are GPS monitored.
• All vehicles have full camera and telematic systems for your safety.
• Vehicles are fully insured with commercial wheelchair accessible vehicle insurance, as well as general commercial liability insurance.
• All vehicles have communication devices so they are always in contact with and being monitored by dispatch.
• All vehicles are under a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule and are checked regularly for additional maintenance requirements.
• All drivers are fully vetted and trained.

At Dignity Transportation, we take privacy seriously.

All recordings from our monitoring systems are handled in accordance with our privacy policy. They are never shared with third parties and are only accessible for legitimate purposes, such as addressing incidents or enhancing driver training.

Our vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art technology designed to enhance passenger safety.

We utilize a system supplied by Samsara, which is approved by the MTO for electronic monitoring. This system ensures that our drivers adhere to all regulations regarding hours of service, allowing us to maintain a high standard of safety and reliability.

We believe in recognizing and rewarding safe driving.

Our system produces a safety score for each driver, weighted according to behaviours that we prioritize at Dignity Transportation. Drivers who maintain high scores are celebrated through our Safe Driver program, while those with lower scores are provided with retraining opportunities. This ensures that our team is always improving and adhering to our safety standards.

Our monitoring system goes beyond basic compliance.

Each vehicle is outfitted with a forward-facing dash cam and an additional camera monitoring the driver. This dual-camera setup allows us to keep a close eye on driver behaviour, ensuring that they are operating the vehicle safely and responsibly. The system continuously monitors various factors, including speed and driving maneuvers, to guarantee a smooth ride for our passengers.

One of the standout features of our system is its AI-driven capabilities.

It not only tracks the driver's speed, but also detects harsh braking and turning. If a driver is distracted or following too closely, the system can issue immediate warnings or notify a manager in real-time for serious incidents. This proactive approach to safety helps us address potential issues before they escalate.

We are excited to announce our latest partnership with Samsara to enhance our safety features even further.

New cameras will be installed on the sides and rear of our vehicles, providing drivers with a comprehensive view of their surroundings. Additionally, an interior camera will allow drivers to monitor passengers in the rear, enabling them to respond quickly in case of any distress.

All cameras, including the newly installed ones, can be monitored remotely from our office. This capability allows us to ensure that our safety protocols are being followed at all times. Recordings are securely stored on a server, which can be accessed if any issues arise or for training purposes. This level of oversight is crucial in maintaining our high safety standards.
